Is It Time For Baby's First Checkup?
Begin a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums by starting dental checkups early. The American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry say that the first dental visit should occur within six months after the baby's first tooth appears, but no later than the child's first birthday.
The first appointment is mostly helping your child become accustomed to our office, her dentist, and having those sweet little pearly whites looked at. Since this is a new experience, time spent looking at your little one's teeth is minimal and conducted as gently and efficiently as possible.
